Emma Bijesse is an Associate Principal with Chartis. Emma has 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. At Chartis, Emma has supported academic health systems, integrated delivery networks, and free-standing children’s hospitals on an array of strategic initiatives ranging from funds flow and economic alignment of academic faculty practices to strategic partnerships and service line planning.
Emma’s most recent engagements involved service line planning for a large academic health system with a focus on heart and vascular, cancer, and pediatric services – including market assessment, physician platform analysis, and strategic visioning. In addition, Emma focused on partnerships, leading the due diligence and financial forecasting processes for an affiliation between two regional medical centers.
Prior to her work with Chartis, Emma served as a Senior Consulting Data Analyst at Kaiser Permanente, where she led analytics and dashboard development for population health management programs within the genetics department. In addition, Emma worked as a consultant at Bates White Economic Consulting advising on antitrust-related projects in healthcare.
Emma holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she majored in Finance and Operations. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
