When the solutions to our common healthcare quality problems are so well known, why is it so hard to sustain gains? One cause of the regression in patient safety is at-risk behavior (drift) demonstrated by staff and lost perception of risk. Join Andrew Resnick and Steve Mrozowski as they discuss how anticipating and recognizing drift can prevent an organization from experiencing slow, incremental movement of system operations that can ultimately lead to adverse outcomes.

Andrew Resnick, MD, is Chief Medical and Quality Officer and is a Senior Partner in Clinical Transformation, where he leads the High Reliability Care practice.
Steve Mrozowski
Steve Mrozowski, MHA, CPPS, FACHE, is a Partner in Clinical Transformation and leads External Peer Review and Patient Safety. He brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience in prehospital services, quality, safety, and high reliability organizing and education.
Jennifer Beasom, RN
Jennifer Beasom is a Business Development Executive with Chartis’ High Reliability Care practice. She brings more than 28 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 18 years of experience in healthcare quality, particularly in the areas of nursing leadership, cardiovascular nursing, quality management, performance improvement, data management, analytics, strategic growth, and relationship management.
