Prashant Karamchandani is a Senior Partner in Financial Transformation and co-leads the Revenue Cycle Transformation practice. He brings more than 19 years of experience in revenue cycle, strategic planning, business intelligence, technology, and healthcare consulting to provide innovative solutions that enhance business and technical operations, accelerate revenue growth, and produce actionable change. Prashant’s most recent experience includes oversight and management of numerous revenue transformation assessments and implementation projects for hospitals, physician organizations, and nationally integrated health systems. He serves as a strategic advisor to revenue cycle executives at various health systems across the country, helping them improve current state operations and plan for future changes using technology and enhanced operations.
Prior to joining Chartis, Prashant was a Director in the Revenue Transformation practice at The Claro Group (now a part of Nordic Consulting). During his tenure there, he helped develop a business intelligence solution and reporting tool incorporating financial and transaction data into real-time dashboards and reports. He has also assisted clients in establishing revenue governance structures, enhancing processes and technology systems, and reducing re-work by directing and monitoring initiatives focused on hospital operations, patient access, care coordination, and patient financial services. He has also held prior roles with Apex Health Associates, Endeavor Health Group, and Deloitte Consulting.
Prashant is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Fellow with the Healthcare Finance Management Association (FHMFA), a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Prashant received his Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has also earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Akron.
