Michael Lee is a Consultant in the Strategy and Performance practice with Chartis. Michael has six years of experience, the last four of which have been in consulting, where he specializes in healthcare planning for academic medical centers, health systems, and federal agencies. He has led efforts to develop both facility and service line strategies for providers across the nation. He has also conducted health equity studies, one of which measured the impact of hospital and service line closures on underrepresented and at-risk populations across all 50 states. Michael has experience managing workstreams that involve processing big data through programming in R, where he has technical expertise.
Prior to joining Chartis, Michael was a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, where he worked in the Health Sector, both with commercial and public sector teams, on engagements to develop network strategies for health systems. His experience includes working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to conduct market assessments for one of VA’s largest recapitalization efforts in its history.
Michael holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Winston-Salem State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Franklin Pierce University, where he majored in health science.
