Kari Hutchison is a Partner in Digital & Technology Transformation. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in the vendor, provider, and consulting arenas. She has an accomplished history leading multiple enterprise EHR implementations across a wide range of healthcare organizations including large networks, academic institutions, and pediatric environments. She is seasoned in program leadership, communications, healthcare change management, and IT service management.
Kari recently served as program director for planning through the enterprise system implementation at a pediatric organization celebrating high adoption rates and user satisfaction at go-live. She continued with the organization post live to establish a governance structure, project intake process, and continue cross-department collaboration for maximized results.
In addition to her EHR implementation experience, Kari has a deep interest in IT enablement. She is passionate about ensuring an organization has the optimal mix of IT solutions to enable operations most efficiently, and creating an IT operation to ensure those solutions are seamlessly built, tested, and communicated creating the best experience for all stakeholders.
Prior to joining Chartis, Kari was a Vice President at Impact Advisors in the Implementation practice and led the Implementation Change Management methodology.
Kari holds degrees in nursing from Marquette University and Organizational Communication and Public Relations from Michigan State University. She is currently certified in several Epic applications, holds her ITIL Fundamentals certification, and a Healthcare Change Management certification from Cornell.
