Carrie Whysall, CISM, CDPSE, CHISSP, is an Associate Principal with Chartis. She is a proven IT executive leader with over 20 years of experience. Carrie has a solid track record of leveraging infrastructure insights to better the integration of security enforcement and assurance programs. Her depth of expertise includes the management and implementation of strategic Information Technology programs that provide operational excellence. Carrie is also acknowledged for exceptional performance in process improvements change management and facilitation of multiple projects while ensuring security compliance.
Prior to joining Chartis, Carrie was a member of CPW Solutions, Inc., where she assisted organizations with various IT security needs. Previous to CPW Solutions, Carrie served as Director of Managed Security for the cybersecurity consulting firm, CynergisTek. Prior to that, she held security roles with increasing responsibility at Ascension Information Systems, culminating in the position of Senior Director of Security. Carrie was a Program Manager for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where she largely supported the Ascension healthcare organization.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), as well as a Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP).
