Prior to his role at Chartis, Blake was a Manager in KPMG's Healthcare and Life Sciences Deal Advisory and Strategy practice, where he primarily led mergers and acquisitions and strategy consulting engagements across healthcare provider and payer segments. Blake started his healthcare consulting career at Navigant Consulting (now part of Guidehouse), where he managed healthcare strategy and managed care contracting engagements with leading health systems.
Blake has 8+ years of healthcare strategy consulting experience across a variety of disciplines, including managed care pricing strategy and contracting, mergers and acquisitions strategy (buy-side and sell-side), partnerships and affiliations, commercial and operational due diligence, corporate and growth strategy, strategic planning, academic alignment and funds flow, separation planning, performance improvement, and value-based care strategy.
Blake’s recent engagements include pediatric academic partnership support, resulting in a publicly announced pediatric academic affiliation agreement and a funds flow redesign effort, resulting in collaborative discussions between hospital and academic partners.
