Anthony Luparello is an Associate Partner with Chartis whose career in healthcare spans over 10 years, eight of which have been spent in healthcare consulting. Anthony has a track record of providing high value pharmacy consulting expertise to both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals and health systems in the areas of pharmacy operations, drug utilization, retail and specialty prescription capture, pharmacy revenue cycle, strategic planning, and 340B implementation, enhancement, and compliance. Anthony has also assisted clients in evaluating the feasibility of starting and/or broadening retail and specialty pharmacy operations through physical and service-line expansion.
Prior to his consulting career, Anthony serviced as a pharmacy coordinator at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for 42 pharmacist and technician FTEs, as well as pharmacy operations covering approximately 500 medicine, surgical, and ICU beds, a 20-bed inpatient oncology unit, and a 25-chair oncology infusion center.
In addition, Anthony serves on the Membership Committee of the Central Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE CTX) and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC) at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy.
Anthony earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master of Pharmacy Administration with honors from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy (UHCOP), and his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Baylor University.
