Amy Melanson is a Practice Manager with Chartis. She is a healthcare consulting and operations professional with over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, program leader, and consultant. Amy has experience designing and implementing programs to support large-scale transformation initiatives with particular focus in the areas of clinical informatics, organizational readiness and change management, clinician engagement, marketing and communications strategy and planning, and learning and education. Most recently, Amy’s work has focused on the development of strategic communications programs to support the implementation of new technologies at provider-based care organizations.
In her current role, Amy manages the advancement of the firm’s informatics and technology advisory solutions providing support for the development of the practice’s intellectual property and thought leadership as well as management of the sales and marketing efforts for the practice.
Prior to joining Chartis, Amy held roles as Manager of Informatics and Education, Communication and Support at Swedish Medical Center, Manager of Epic Education at John Muir Health, and Director of IT Training at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Prior to her healthcare experience, Amy was a professional educator in a secondary school setting.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Smith College.
