Why Healthcare?

I am inspired by healthcare for deeply personal reasons. I hold a firm belief that quality, affordable healthcare is a fundamental human right. My passion is fueled by the aspiration to guarantee that everyone, irrespective of their background or circumstances, can access the care they require. I have a strong conviction that the current state of affairs is unsustainable, yet I see immense potential for clinicians and technology to synergize more effectively. I am eager to contribute my efforts to leaving the healthcare system in a better state than I encountered it, fostering positive change and innovation along the way.

Best piece of advice you've ever been given?

The advice "Do not say you are funny, tell a joke" is a potent reminder of the power of action (show & tell) over mere assertion. It encapsulates the idea that demonstrating competency is far more impactful (and real) than simply stating it. This advice has helped to build trusted relationships with clients and helped me be more persuasive and authentic (than merely making claims).

Where's your favorite place to visit and why?

Banff holds a special place in my heart, not just for its breathtaking natural beauty, but also for the cherished memories it holds as the destination for my honeymoon with my wife. Whether it was exploring the enchanting trails of Banff National Park hand in hand, enjoying cozy evenings by the fireplace in a charming lodge, every moment spent in Banff felt like a dream come true.
