Ian Stone is an Associate Principal and Manager of Advanced Analytics at Chartis. He has worked in healthcare administration and consulting for over 25 years. His work is focused on helping hospitals and health plans align their strategic, operational, and information management objectives to achieve their performance goals. Ian has led efforts in strategic planning, operational and facilities planning, core process redesign, and application development.
Ian’s recent work includes the development and deployment of custom market dashboards, a provider compensation benchmarking and redesign, and a service line definition and design project. Prior engagements include an enterprise-wide strategic planning initiative with development of service line strategies, a long-term broad-based organizational redesign effort, a patient access and revenue cycle engagement, and a clinical service line assessment and performance improvement project.
Before joining Chartis, Ian spent eight years at CSC management consulting firm and its predecessor, APM Management Consultants, where he led healthcare consulting engagements with leading providers and health plans nationwide. Previously, Ian worked in health insurance, first at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and later at Healthcare Compare Corporation where his work focused on provider contracting and network development.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Boston University.
